Anyone know where the rodent 6 went?

I got one with black canvas and black blade. It is a very nice knife that is seriously tough. Love the feel and the weight. In hindsight kind of wished I would have gotten two. They were listed for a long time so I guess I felt it would be there later.

There are a few Kin blades that never get big-noted as superstar knives, but as you say, you never see them on the Exchange. The Rodent 6 is definitely one (although that's where I got my first one). The 511 is another.
 
I just got a rodent 6 with the top guard removed and it's amazing. I like it a lot and don't think I'll ever sell it. It all depends on how it stacks up against the JackManDu...only time will tell.
 
Now that the site is back up, I'll try this again...
Somebody grabbed it. (Had I noticed the price reduction sooner, it likely would have been me. Luckily, I have 2 Jackmandus on the way, so that miss doesn't sting too badly))
 
they still have the other. If I didn't have a rodent 6 already, I would have jumped on it.
 
No interest in the other at that price. Somebody that wants it more than I do can have it.
 
i thought for sure one of you guys would have jumped on it. it made it to auction site.
 
Really? I would have sworn one was micarta. Guess it doesn't really matter, at this point, if they're both sold.
 
It's a shame the Rodent 6 went anywhere. The more Busse & kin I get, the more I recognize the genius of the Rodent 6 design. I bought it after the TGLB went away, because I wanted a TGLB but couldn't pull the trigger when they were available. Now I have a BGTG, and while I love that blade, too, the Rodent 6 is just a dang nice blade. I'd be hard pressed to choose between the two, were I forced to do so. The real kicker is going to be when I receive my O2W TG-M. That is going to be interesting.

Bottom line, if you see a 6 and have a chance at it, I'd say jump on it.
 
Heh, I grabbed the Jungle Green & Tan Canvas one off the 'bay. Just got it today.
Since Jungle Green is gone, I couldn't resist.

Congrats!! :thumbup:

I was drooling over that one but my JMD was literally only a day away, so I had to pass. I hope they bring back the Jungle Green in the future.
