Anyone know where to get JUST the blade for a Military?

Hey again guys thanks for all of the posts. I admit i was getting agitated, but not cause of my knife. I'll keep an eye out on the exchange and if I can't find anything will have it reground. I'll make sure to posts some pictures of it later on.

thanks again.

Your "agitated" posts really put me off. Because of your attitude, I decided not to offer the help you seek. Thought you might like to know because you seem to not understand how to go about getting people to help you out.

FlaMtnBkr made a good point. With you going national guard I wouldn't worry too much about getting your "duty knife" ready until you find out where you're going to end up. If NG commands are anything like active duty commands, there's a good chance you'll end up somewhere where you'll get hemmed up over blade length. Trust me, you don't want to give the MPs (no offense to any MPs here) a leg to stand on when they hassle you. You're better off keeping your blade the way it is and complaining (loudly) on a regular basis about what crappy condition your knife is in. Maybe that'll give you an extra few months before one of your battles steals the thing.

For those that want to see pictures the link that was posted earlier has pictures in it from not that long ago.

The wear was caused by his sharpening technique, or at least it was, and I doubt it has changed much since. The main wear was a slight recurve shape probably from not sharpening the ricasso area as much as the rest of the blade.

I saw a spare E4 blade on a well-known auction site last night. Made me think of this thread. Notably, the listing included the original lockbar and the advice that the lockup on a blade swap will be better with the original lockbar.
