you know ive never thought about the HT of spyderco knives i own. They have a solid history of performance and fixing the ones with issues
I love my nilakka. It makes my manix feel like its lagging behind. I am very excited for my stretch SB and egar to try out a new steel.
I would love to get a BM valet, but as far as im aware they are still gung ho from the fairly recent MAP price updates. I havnt bought a single BM since. I would love a few of their models, because at the vvery least, they have good materials and look good, 940, valet, and a few others but i only swing by their stuff so often to see if the price has come down and so far, not really. $180 for a 940 when something like the firefly is around the corner? Also near the pricepoint of many BMs but with better materials and at least similar QC if not better ZT. 0450 and 808 looks real good. Ill continue hucking money at spyderco and splurging here and there on a few other companies, and drop the ones with 30%or better price increases overnight. I've had two Taichung spydercos and no BM i have had comes close to that level of craftsmanship, but now they are priced the same! And if USA made is a big deal then guess what, whole line ups made in Golden CO USA Earth.
