Damn I was I was going to Blade this year... Sooo many great knoves being introduced... Proxy anybody? Can you put me down for a Bird Dog???

That mudpuppy is the first one of their knives that I've actually liked (nobody shoot, I'm ducking now).

But I do like that one a lot.

I love the shape too. I just hate that respirene handle. Probably because I never got one in my hand. I just think it's ugly as hell.

Personal taste.

Swamp Rat's micarta handles just look HOT.

Thanks for the Specs Raymond.

Whats this steel all about? I'm guessing stainless?

Benchmade uses 154cm a lot. Here's their description:

An American made premium grade stainless steel originally developed for tough industrial applications. Known for its best all-around qualities, it offers great corrosion resistance with good toughness and edge quality.

And the models.

Good enough for a BM, good enough for me.

They both look pretty cool. The Mud Puppy has my interest. Unfortunately, I don't have the patience to actually try and get one from Scrapyard. I might pick one up in the exchange if the markup isn't too bad.
