• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Anyone mod a Rifleman's hawk like this?

I hate the hammer poll on the rifleman's hawk.

I was thinking it might be cool to cut it off at the "waist" and grind the remainder down to a pyramidal spike of sorts.

Anyone ever done this, and do you have pics?

I'm modding a rifleman's hawk for someone now, and offered to do this, but they declined. Kinda dissapointed, I thought it'd be pretty sick!

hacksaw it is, I live in a 2 room apartment and don't have the space for power tools right now

it works great, brother.

just grab a new fine-tooth saw and have at it - hacksaw blades are one of my favorite survival items, so i usually have a fresh one on hand, and i highly recommend it as a practice.

i'm finishing up three right now on our composite Gen 1 Mk V handles.

everyone should try this head style with the poll lopped off - it's not a hawk IMHO, but it is a great War Hammer mixed with a Forest Axe....

kind of a hawk on steroids.

Not to mention it's a good workout.

I'll give it a try, needless to say this head is getting alot of filework... I'm going to give it a beard with an edge and try to thin down the head as a whole to reduce some weight.

here's a couple new ones.

just add a protective/decorative cord wrap around the neck....
