anyone order from knifecenter.com?

In the forum for such topics, Good. Bad and Ugly, they are mentioned 25 times - 24 positive and one negative WHO MEANT ANOTHER VENDOR and correct his error. Sounds good to go.

Oh, by the way, my only experience with them was also good.

Sorry about the misplaced thread. I came here since this one seemed the most populated, I didn't see that forum.

Yep... I orded from them once & never again! They just grab it off the shelf & send it to you without inspection! I got three less than perfect knives from them. This was my only & last buy from them!
 
I have been ordering from the knife center of the internet for years and have NEVER had a problem, EVER. And the Good, bad and Ugly is the place for this though. We were all new once. Live and learn.
 
I order from them....best prices and fast service and my knives were top shelf......
 
I've also used Knife Center, and I have only good things to report. And don't worry about this being the wrong forum, it happens. I'm sure Cougar will pounce on it at any moment...

You'd seriously expect a large internet distribution center to inspect every single item that they ship? Sounds like a fluke, honestly.
 
2 orders from them, no problems! I wouldn't say they are knife people. It seems like the sales people I dealt with are just doing a job. But I got what I wanted at a decent price.
 
If you want them to inspect before sending, place your order by phone & ask them to do it.

They've been great with all of the several orders I've placed with them. Very reliable & easy to deal with. :thumbup:
 
I like Knife Center. I've purchased many knives from them. My only complaint is that once they did not have my product in stock and they held onto my order forever. Okay not forever, but that's what it feels like when you're expecting a new knife. They're good but I usually do a Froogle search and go with the lowest price.

As far as inspecting knives before shipping, I think that is the manufacturer's responsibility.
 
I've also done a fair amount of business with them and never had a problem. If it's in stock (and I like the fact the website shows if it is or not) it will ship quickly. They don't always have the best price but some things are more important like doing business with someone you trust. I also recently ordered a knife from Knifepro.com and that went smoothly with very good communication. I had emailed them with a question and received an answer within hours.
 
The knife center has treated me fairly and I typically get the knife the next day if I order in the morning. They were very decent about the whole ZDP-189 knife craze and didn't raise prices, sell on E-bay or any other sleazy stunts. They have been fair about the waiting list when there has been one. I've never gotten a less than perfect knife from them either. Joe L.
 
i have been dealing with the knifecenter for years have ordered on line and have visited them at college park maryland they are great top notch never a problem with returns or purchase you will not be disappointed
 
Like most of the other responses, I too, have had great service and quick response from them, even the handling of my LEO paperwork was done promptly. Also, I like the fact that they maintain a brick and mortar store in D.C. as well. I don't get there often but it just feels nice that they are not "just" a website. A little old fashioned I know but.......
 
I've ordered from them several times and have had no problems. I always call their 800 number cause I don't put my CC on the internet. They're always nice and I always get my stuff pretty quickly. I'll use them again.
