Anyone removed Cerakote?

Looks great, and love the color of the handles. Are they tiger hide or black G10? How did you get such a rich color?

They are micarta, I assume tiger hide but since I've not seen tiger hide I'm not sure. The brighter color is due to the fact the oil was still fresh and the pic was taken in direct sunlight.
Here is a pic of the handle after the oil has soaked in and a pic with a little more applied, the handle color is a reddish brown with black pinstripes in it.

I decided to use the wire brush and drill method tonight. It came out great! I'll get some pics when the sun is up. Mine is definitely tigerhide too.

So they covered up tigerhide micarta with cerakote? Lol, I'd have put the cheapest chit on there possible.

Just one more reason why Busse kicks ass. Strip a cerakoted knife, get tigerhide micarta. Schweet. :)

After those last photos, I finally understand the attraction of tigerhide! WE NEED MORE TIGERHIDE in OP2W part deux!!

That looks awesome. I have a Bushwacker Mistress with the sharkface Cerekote. I like the sharkface but the tiger hide is sweet. Makes me wonder what's under mine?

I love Tigerhide and I love the Fat ASH! Thank you for the pleasant surprise Jerry!

With a little water to see the color better. I actually really like the look of dry Tigerhide so I won't be oiling mine up.

And lets not forget these are FAT ASHs!

Man, that looks sweet! I would've never guessed that would be under the cerakote.
