Yeah yeah... I have just been trying to actually NOT spend every waking minute on the computer... I am IT geek professional, so 9-10 hours a day at work is enough. Besides, my honey-do list is about 8 miles long......

Well that is ok. I would be driven insane if I had :thumbdn:to be an IT guy. I know how ya feel. But if the feeling to chat strikes you somebody will most likely be there. :D :cool: :thumbup:

In addition to a shipping guru..... I used to be into chemistry. Not sure I'd be of much help....but...how do I put this.... When we worked with nitrates in the lab....I was 'supervised'
 
Random rant, figured here's as good a place as any....

Can we really get over the name change and back to building crap in the woods and pouring water over ourselves? I never thought I'd long for a good RC4 vs RC5 thread to post in. In which I'd suggest an RC6, and dylside would repost his epic essay, and everyone else would extoll the virtues of the RC3. At some point someone has to mention that the RC5 is just too huge, and thereby be dubbed a wimp by the RC5 toting mafia.

Oh, the good old days.

Tell ya what, I am REALLY getting miffed at BF in general for the laggy proformance recently. Just posted on Dylan's tat thread, and it took almost 4 minutes of sitting and waiting for the darn page to come back.

Remember way back in October 2009 when we had discussions about the outdoors and woodscraft and kit and survival and that kind of nonsense? :D

Eh, spring is around the corner and hopefully we'll all be out more and have less time to sit and debate the color of grass in 9 threads.

I was going to say the same. This is how outdoor oriented forums always go, cycles.

Winter comes around and things slow down a bit then by the end of the winter folks have cabin fever and start to post about weird stuff until spring rolls around and things get back to normal.

I was wondering about the design thread myself. Last I was told my Mrs. S was that the Izula folder was the winner.
 
I'll be doing some food storage work when I get a moment. I'll post up a thread about it when I do it. That'll give ya'll something different to think about.

I remember the days of dressing in purple and heels and setting fires. Ah he days.....

I'm sort of out in it now. Cabin camping, but at least I'm not at home. Plus I gotta gear up the four year old before I go hiking in this with him. I've sawed so many logs my arm feels like jelly. A jelly arm, btw is apparantl produced by cutting two twenty foot logs, dragging them down an ice coated slope, and then sawing off about a grand total of 8 pieces of wood. I'm going to go split those in a minute, then burn the rest of that crap in half. :)
