Not if you have only a crackberry...then you just see a hourglass and error messages....you guys suck. But that's what I get for being out iin the sticks where I can't even dialup
 
Yeah only because I rigged an antenna out of speaker wire but it only works on the window sill next to my armchair I get one bar two if its clear

Its my house, the phone wires are old and the phone company said we would have to replace the wires from the box to the jack where ever we wanted the phone, satalite is out because of all the trees and cable stops 8 miles away.

Dark, may I remind you that we have minors visiting this forum and cursing just isnt acceptable.... :) They are talk SN#W here today too, 2-4" but NWS is predicting a heavy SN#WFALL on Weds for us.... :(

look in your CP under subscriptions - it describes each level of participation.
basically, $10 a year lets you PM folks, have a signature, and personalize your profile a bit. Gold is $25 and lets you sell things. Each level above that increases your perks.

sounds familiar, except I could have satellite if I wanted to waste my $$ on it.
dialup is slow, but only $180 a year.

if you lived closer, I could help you run new phone lines - it's pretty simple so long as you're not color blind.
 
I could run the line but my landlord is kinda iffy on me doing stuff my self, I've done carpentry , electrical, now I do HVAC and he doesn't let me do anywork myself.

Snow is not a dirty word unless you are talking about the yellow kind!
As soon as we get home me and my son are going to rip it up on the 4 wheeler!

Wonder if I should try to sleep in my shelter tonight!

Oh it snowed here.....all day yesterday.....in south Texas.....


I'm so close to the equator that if I dont duck at noon I'll hit my head on the freaking sun and it snowed.......all day.

I was out in it working all day and now I have a sore throat to show for it.:mad:

I absolutely LOVE snow, thats THE thing I miss from living up north. Nothing makes your house feel more like home than a nice snowfall.
