Quick Christmas tree question

The trees are pine right so I could split them up to get "fatwood" correct?

Fatwood is resin filled wood correct?

that would be a great way to recycle my tree this year

Sad story CD... :(

I hope they are found safe and sound.... some of the comments being made by the readers are brutal.... totally uncalled for too. The world is filling up with Asshats... :(

Those making idiotic comments don't climb and don't know this mountain. It can go from a non-technical, long day to a nightmare in a matter of hours. I'll keep an ear and eye out for the big Chinook helicopters landing outside my window...

I think most Christmas trees are Blue Spruce or Douglas Fir.... if that helps at all...

I know that they are made out of ignorance, still.... sad.

cool crowdog, I've been looking at the guyot design bottles as well, so I'll be looking for your review of it!

Give me a bit to put it through some paces, my point of contact concerns are as such; Its a bit heavier due to its being stainlesssteel, the backpacker mod tapers in toward the bottom thus making it seemingly more likely to falling over and its larger circumfrence does not allow it to fit in my Jansport bag (tocoma) bottle holders.. The biggest worry i have is over the treading on the lid, due to the lid being made of plastic...The s.s. should hold up well im just worried that over time the tighting of the lid will further the treadings and finally strip them, but that is'nt so as of yet so i will keep you guys up dated.

We've got a reasonably priced stainless steel 27 ounce sport bottle coming out soon with the ESEE logo. I'd say ours will go for around 10 bucks.

Small mouth lid or larger opening capable of cooking med sized objects within?

My wallet is crying right now because I've abused it so much in the past month, yet I will continue beating it with all this great RAT gear. I've been looking at getting a steel bottle and this will be my "excuse".

sounds good - beats the 18oz aluminum ones I saw at Cabela's on Friday for the same $$!

No, this is just a POS SS water bottle with the smaller screw cap. You could boil water in it if you wanted but not made for that. Plus, the cool ESEE logo would burn off if you did!

pity, though I'm looking to replace an age old sigg, and I couldn't boil in that either ... but I'm definitely looking at something the same diametre as the bigger guyot stainless bottle ... as that will fit my stainless mug.

Something came in the mail today!
