just after x-mas we had 50 deg (Fahrenheit) the forecast for the night says 5 deg Fahrenheit. And we got 8 inches of snow again ...

Spring here in Texas is that hour before the sun comes up the first day of summer. Then the sun breaks the horizon and birds and plants start to burst into flames.

We're having the most severe snow since 1981. Pretty cold too, in some spots: Currently around 5 Fahrenheit here and there, here it's 20 now. No snow at the moment, but a week ago it looked like this from my place:

The snowy bit in the upper left is a lake, one of several here.

One of my cars buried onder some 5 inches - the vintage Lancia is in a heated garage nearby (I live way outside my checkbook ).

That lone building is the music-school. Charmingly off-key flutes and violins in summer, just silent enough not to be irritating. The field in front of it is in constant danger of being built on, but there's a small Jewish cemetery in the way - behind the fence on the left.

I can handle a bit more snow - bring it on!

...I'll try and resize first, next time.
