Anything New from Canal Street?

I don't have a Pinch yet but found 2 more scale materials. One retailer has them available in Smooth Sunset Bone and in Amber Faux Tortoise Shell.

And I just got an email showing the Pinch in Reclaimed American Chestnut scales.

Here you guys go - besides the Sambar Stag there are two Pinches: American Chestnut and Sunset Bone.

I am assuming the American Chestnut is using the same wood gathered from the barn in Hopkinsville, Kentucky?

Hello , My first post... I own #23 of the 1st run Sunset Smooth Bone Pinch Lockback by Canal Street. P/N 1133504. This knive feels great in my front pocket & I never know it's there. The Bone is a little grainy in places & I don't think it can be rubbed out. It does have side to side play @ the blade pivet & was sent back to CSC for refitting. One area that is very nice, the lock lever has a nice tappered ramp leading to the thumb area.... very nice feel with little effort by user. Over all fit & finish (other that blade play) very nice.

I will get photos when I have the knife back!

Thanks for the comment Mike, trying all the time to take better pics.

Well I just picked my knife up that had been repaired for play in the blade @ the pin. I must say that there is no reason why I would not buy another CS knive. The refitting of the blade is spot on ...very pleased to say the least . From my phone call to Canal Street, to the inspection of the returned knife it has been a no stress deal ! I even called to let them know how pleased I was with there service ... the phone was answered by a fellow named Wally... after a nice talk about knives & cheesecake he told me he was the owner of CS , knives for real people built & serviced by real people right here in the USA.

Thanks Folks,

Mark
