This will be the 100th BOTM release since the program started back in January 2018. I started a thread about this 6–7 months ago, hoping they might do something a little special to mark the milestone. One idea I threw out was a twinset. Buck did reply and mentioned that these are planned about a year in advance, so it sounds like it might just end up being a regular BOTM release—but I guess we’ll see.

Released -- April 23rd

I agree, it would be neat to have something commemorate the milestone. I guess we wait...

AI's prediction:

If we optimize strictly for Buck’s current collector-hype behavior (premium steels + modern materials + limited 500 + marketable story) and the milestone pressure, April 2026 BOTM will most likely be a “heritage icon” build (110/112-class) in MagnaCut with standout scales and a small 100th‑BOTM commemorative cue (laser mark/COA emphasis), ~500 pieces, ~$225–$300. It’s operationally safe: same factory rhythm, new materials package, and a commemorative marking is low risk.

It's the fourth month of the year, and my son's scout troop is cleaning their gear for another season of camping. Clearly, the BOTM will be a 4-blade camp knife. Maybe in smooth red to match the special run of new 301's.

Alternatively, I'd take a 2-blade 303 with a full flat grind in green paperstone and brass to match that short run of 301's from last year. I'm not picky.

It's likely the offering will be a 110 or a 119 if they're celebrating the 100th BOTM.

But how about a 113 slim?
Micarta handle.....🤔
It would be light.

Or maybe even a regular size micarta handle, just skip the brass or nickel. It would still be light.

I feel like I missed April BOTM. This month is moving so fast.

My prediction is something yellow and happy 😊
