Just got the email. What are your thoughts?

I like that they kicked the price point down a bit, but I still don’t know if I’m in for that kind of coin on a 420HC Purple Spitfire.

I understand the collector aspect of it. I guess purple isn’t my thing

Still a nice knife. I have always been a fan of these.

Got mine...Just to have the set. I wish they would go back to the more collectible models...

This might be the first one that doesn't sell out in an hour... If the hardware was chrome (or white), they could have call it Neapolitan...

I think they come out with this one because too many people were complaining that the BOTM cost 100$ and there wasn't 10,000 of them made...So here you go...

To me Buck of the month should be a smaller run more collectable knife. So far the little stag knife from last month was a winner. A 110, 119 and a mini spitfire. I think you could buy them at your local hardware store. Although the dark purple and black are kinda cool.

Well, they're still available, 4 hours after the release!!! That ought to say something to Buck about the model selection...

It did go from 100 to 200 this month. Maybe there was just over 100 people every month that really wanted the BOM. Same 100 probably bought this one, just need to find another 100 or so people to sell this one out. I will buy one on payday if its still around. If not, I will not have an Easter knife next year:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:PURPLE:D

Maybe I’m too stuck in the past, but I much prefer the more traditional Buck styles. Not a big fan of the modern Buckerco models. No thanks.

Gotta say I had one in cart. I love spitfires.
I have alot . I bought most of the limited edition from Copper and Clad and Sk blades. BUT I second guess myself because this is one ugly knife and it's not even cheap for what it is.
Once I saw it was a mini spit fire and not a spitfire I removed it from cart.
Maybe it's just me but Buck seems to be headed in the wrong direction. It's seems everything I like they discontinue or it is priced out of sight. What happen to the years of making 1000 limited run knives and selling them for a reasonable cost. The last two years of catalogues there isnt one gotta have knife....and anyone I remotely like is priced out of sight. If not for the afforementioned retailers I would have not bought any knives and I greatly appreciate them and hope they continue.....sorry end of rant...maybe it's just me.

Not my thing and wish they would have stayed more classic (but I'm an old guy) while making enough of a model that I didn't have to wait for the release to get one in an hour.

Hope this one sells out and Buck sells more knives which is what I prefer to see happen, even if they are not ones I want.

You probably can wait for 2 paydays and they'll still be available. Let's see 3 different knives 100 made gone in less than an hour and 1 with 200 made, still available 8 hours after released...Hmmm...

I think everyone that wants a Buck of Month knife should be able to get one, so I'm happy to see more available and hope it continues.

So did you order yours? If everyone should have one then there is nothing special about it and just make it a new variation to the production knives. So there would be no BOTM...

Maybe they shoukd add some new options on the fixed knife side of their business. I would love to see a 119 sized 916. Another type of med sized Bowie. Not the small tang version out now. Or 117, maybe a taller more robust 119. Maybe some new models ,

Uh, nah....I didn't even look twice at this one. Which isn't a bad thing I reckon.....
