April Buck Of The Month

Maybe they shoukd add some new options on the fixed knife side of their business. I would love to see a 119 sized 916. Another type of med sized Bowie. Not the small tang version out now. Or 117, maybe a taller more robust 119. Maybe some new models ,

That's a good Idea Makael, I would also like to see some new/unique production knives. I also would like to keep the BOTH and make it more for the collectors and still keep the price reasonable. Something like 130$ max and keep the quantity down to 100 pieces. Then it would truly be the Buck Of The Month...

Just remember, you can paint a Pinto purple and call it special, but it's still a Pinto...

This one's a little early..I'll have to go check it out. The 112 BOTM is a must have for me..Now that I know the email can come early I'll look sooner.

Well, I got my BOTM knife, what a piece of cr*p...It doesn't even look like that nice pic on pg 1...I love Buck products, but to have this as your BOTM special is insulting to the loyal customers...

I see they're still available, I can see why...I bought it to have the set? I was going to send it back for a refund but the wife discovered it fit in her coin purse and that's the last I saw of it...Ha!Ha!

Don

I see these are sold out now. 200 knives still sold in less that a month and not even a highly desirable knife. I am more of a user than collector, but 200 sounds like a good number to make each month.

It weren't for me,but obviously a lotta guys liked it.
Saving my funds for the Stag Handle 118!;)

I know the 112 will be a BOTM this year and so far every month I've gone thru a week of worrying I would miss it..I have to say it's been exciting and I'm glad Buck came out with this promotion. I hope it will continue for years to come!

Just order one instead of waiting. Maybe it will be a BOTM.

Order yourself a custom,

If Buck would let me prepay/ order for the 112 BOTM (whenever that is) I absolutely would. The first 3 went so fast..Same with web specials and build out 112's. I know I will buy them for my rare, odd 112 collection no matter what the cost or configuration. I wish Buck would keep my CC on file and just send it to me whenever they build it.

bucksway, you may be on to something.A prepaid subscription. What a concept.Maybe that is something the BCCI should consider.

Idk if it would work. Ante up 2000.00 and wait and see what 12 knives you get? Mini spitfires were 29.00 at the feed store. I think getting an email works great. You always set alerts,

Plus the club has club only offerings to members.

Agreed.
I do wish they gave us BCCI members a better price on some those limited knives.
I tend to see alot of them end up on the Bay. I doubt those people are paying full price and reselling them . But I guess that is a different subject.

You can come out to Buck twice a year at the factory sales and pick up 112 build outs if they they have any for sale. Plus they put put different knives out everyday for a week. Like the email, you need to be at Buck dang near all day for a week to not miss a model. Keeps things hopping.

also add makael they are not available at garage sale prices--in other words they are not cheep as some people may think....
and how many hours did you put in last sale????? ha I think I was there 1st at 705 am and you were there bout 711 when the sale opens at 10 am ---hey its all guns n roses huh....

Why don't you save up 125$ or so every month and when they come out you have the money, if you want it, if not wait until the next month, just like the rest of us...Some reason you want everybody to bend over backwards to please you? Why? Everyones get's what the Buck a month is about... Let's say you're in business the first three knives there were only a hundred each made and they sold out in less than hour for each model. So that was ruffly 10,000$ an hour in sales for your company. Now you have a knife of lesser quality, priced too high, that took almost two months to sell and you made maybe 15,000$ on, I say maybe because I heard they were giving 20% at the end. So if it was your business which would you rather have, 10,000$ an hour or 7,500$ a month?

Copper and stag 110 at sale. Paid 280.00
916 Bowie 280.00
976 Dagger 280.00
Some spitfires were 25.00
Bantamsare 10 and 12.
119' blems 40.00
Chinese slip joints 8 to 12
But the best part of any sale is not knowing what your going to find. 50th in line you take what's left. Craig and myself get up at the crack of dawn regardless of the weather stand outside for hours until Buck opens the door. Good times.

The opportunity to buy a custom 916 for 280.00 is something most of us don't even have.
I would agree that the lower end knives your discounts are nothing special .
But in a few of my knife buying indiscretions :) I bought 2 limited run 916 knives from Buck. Lets just say they wanted much more on the website.
If Buck actually stored your previous orders in your account I could tell you how much ...but i am better off not remembering that bill
