Neighbor just rang the bell with my bk15. We share a front yard (townhouse) and his kid was running around so he grabbed it quick so that his daughter wouldn't and put it in his garage until he saw me. Then when I didn't come back (since we were eating) they went into eat. After a brief chat he said he didn't realize that it was expensive or important, just thought it was another kitchen knife and, as he proved, he planned on returning it when he saw me. Crisis averted. Just a case of our paths not crossing at the right time. I knew I didn't misplace it
 
Damn, sounds like it might be gone then. I friggen hate thieves. I had someone steal all my fishing gear out of our shed when I was like 18. They got a whole tackle box, my favorite rod and reel, a brand new rod an reel, and my net. At that time I would go fishng 4 or 5 nights a week, and would put my stuff away when I got home instead of leaving it in the back of my pickup. Someone must have saw me put it away and nabbed it after I went to bed. I think the rods and reels were worth maybe $150, but the damn tacklebox probably had $500+ worth in it.

damn, is this the same bk15 that went missing from UPS? if so, you got 7 more lives in that cat....

Yup same one. That's why I actually thought it was gone. Almost like it was never meant for me lol. Om a down side I guess he just tossed it on his bench because there are rolled spots on the edge. 3 small ones to be exact. Like he threw it on a pile of wrenches or something. Oh well, it was time to touch it up anyway and I'd rather have a dull bk15 then none at all.

I've returned victorious! I chose a nice desert tan color, something subtle that wouldn't stand out.
