Since I picked up some lower grits, I've been working at re-polishing all my knives....which takes a while since every one is stripped.

Where's the deets on that story you dropped on me on FB this morning then left me hanging?

Reply back on Facebook man, this is a public thing and I dont think it should really spill over. Anyway, the basic line is that Cam Roy. blocked Dave Canturbury from one of his forums and then and went and did this massive background check on him and from the comments I read it seems like not many people there were actually defendig him (Dave).

That kid has lost his mind. Is this the same group he blocked me from when he bought that stupid Bear Grylls knife and said the BK2 was too heavy (like...2lbs!)? Moving to FB...

The BK16 just bit me. I have a two-bandaid rule. Time to put the sandpaper and sharp pointy things away for now...

Had some major swagagge in the mailbox...Thanks to MrN8 and Grey Bushy. Thanks dudes....and my kydex all arrived, so back to the grindstone for me! (literally)

I don't know if I could sit in on of those....seems like a weird way to sit and paddle and you can't really move around. But what the hell do I know? Would still be cool to get back on the water.

I've NEVER cut myself before and I sand super fast and close to the edge...Maybe you shoud try something different? Are you sanding vertically or horisontally?

Yeah, rejoin the navy (maybe they'll give you another MK.1?) and come back to Perth!

My early-morning brain read that as ''come back to PERN'' and I was thinking, ''I didnt know Tanner knew how to ride Dragons'' and then my no-coffee brain was all ''Riding a dragon while waving a BK6 would be EPIC''

yes, I am indeed a SciFi/Fantasy geek....don't tell anyone.

Surprisingly comfortable. Everything is adjustable while in the boat and you've got plenty of room to move around. I've spent 16 hours at a time in them (with breaks of course) and it's not as bad as you would think. You should try it sometime.

Is this one longer than your other yaks?

Yes Dubz. These are sea kayaks that are longer, narrower and built to haul your gear for week long trips (or more). It's my favorite way to camp.

The new kayak looks excellent! I was just at the Johnson Outdoor shop the other day and they had on display some Necky carbon fiber kayaks. I was drooling, but can't handle that price!

Guess I'm off for tonight guys...Hope I can sand down those tough as hell pins on my BK-2 tomorrow. Speaking of knives, when will my BK-16 and BK-7 arrive?

Robert Young Pelton posted this on facebook a while ago...Its definetly funnier if you have heard the original song beforehand (The real Slim Shady - Eminem)

Thats how it goes when you live outside of Thunderdome.

Whoops. Another too-old movie reference....:D

I watched about 45 seconds of that Red dawn thing...What the hell did you guys have to watch back then?...I feel sorry for you all...:D
