Why is Am-zon's Cold Steel AD 10 so much cheaper? Had a gift card so I popped on it, but I'm worried it's fake. Someone console me, lol.

I have bought several knives from Amazon.

The problem is they are inconsistent, and many people take advantage of the generous return policy.

I have received knives that were different from what I have ordered. Also, some that were handled and had destroyed boxes. A few that were broken or damaged.

And some were completely fine.

It just depends if your willing to gamble.

I've ordered a bunch on Amazon over the years including Cold Steel and have never had a problem. Meanwhile a couple times real knife dealers have sent the wrong thing (and fixed the problem, but it's still not the greatest situation, especially with sprints).

The AD10 I bought and received from Amazon last week is the real deal. Tipped off by one of our esteemed YouTube reviewers, I paid almost $70 less than any of the online sellers were asking. Now, I’ll probably never buy another knife from Amazon (as I’ve been using terrific online sellers for years) but saving almost $70 on a $190 knife is pretty incredible.

Yeah, that's a huge savings. I noticed their AD 15 is $150. I paid $140 for the Lite from another retailer, so I'm kicking myself gor that. I love Cold Steel's S35VN (the AD 15 Lite has AUS10A)
