Are AR's prices still rising?

Thanks. :thumbup: Since I'm restricted to 10-round mags, I'm hoping they're easier to find. Can't mail-order ammo here, so I just have to hit the shops or phone around and hope to get lucky. Should get easier in Fall or Winter, I hear. I'm telling myself I have more patience than I really do. lol

I am curious- does the M&P for 740 have chrome lined chamber and bore?

If so, that is a really nice deal.

Sorry for the delayed reply. I had to Google the answer:

The barrel is a 5R (5 groove) with a 1 in 8" gain twist. It has a Melonite finish inside (nitrocarburation, similar to Glock's Tenifer) which lasts nearly as long as chrome, without the potential accuracy degredation of chrome (which deposits unevenly).
