They are an enjoyable investment
I find it interesting that even in a used state that most Busses still sell for what the original retail was (this is if the knife has been discontinued) I also find it interesting that whenever I sell one of my Busses the market is at a low 
I buy them because I enjoy them, and they hold (and gain) in value more than any other knife I have seen...and they are fun to use. So I do consider them an investment, but a fun one. If they increase in value great, if they don't I still have fun using and admiring them
