I have a collection of sharp pointy things made over 100-200 years ago, and I doubt that I will be using many of those. There are entire categories of knives, that are not intended for use.
Would you really want to beat this thing against a tree?

hell yeah if i was king tut, i would.
but then again seeing how things
have changed drastically since those
thousands of years ago
what was right in the past
may not necessarily be considered
appropriate in future lifetimes.
i suspect such a flashy dagger would be redesignated as ornate decorative art
today rather than functional afterlife divine ice pick

yes there is a distinction
to be made between
embelished works and
quality work knives.
and honestly, anything
flashy is in the relm of
pimps to drug barons in our time
seriously, who else could afford them for use anyways?
anyone else would place that in
a safe or have it hung behind a bullet proof glass under 24 hour electronic survalence
