The other thing the Eldris has going for it the size and the colors. In my family we all have one. It’s been a starter knife that’s been good to learn on but that they won’t outgrow. Too many little knives have little handles. Everyone has their own color they can pick from so there’s no confusion on who it belongs to.
The other thing is the color and size works out good for my wife. She keeps hers in her lunch kit. No one bats an eye at her job when she uses it there. This little bright blue thing no one cares. When it doesn’t look scary it doesn’t get a second glance.
