Are there any esee fans from california in here???

born and raised in Santa monica and Malibu. Have a house in Culver City but have moved to Georgia for a year, then I'm back to the Golden State!:D I cant wait to be home.

Really? You've been to the Sierra-Nevadas? Lake Tahoe? Yosemite? The redwood forests? The Mojave? The Anza-Borrego? Death Valley? Napa Valley? And hundreds of other absolutely beautiful and interesting places that one should visit before they die?

Or did you end up in skid row in downtown LA, and saw a lot of people camping, but not having fun doing it?

Nice! I'm from the SCV my self but came from the HB area. Any one ever been to Sespe creek in Ventura county? Been thinking of going on a backpacking trip out there. Never been.

Mostly skiing, I'll admit the sights were something great. But nothing like the Alps. Nevada dessert was much better. But still just not the place for me.
 
In the 70s, I was a junior counselor at a Mountaineering Camp based in Mammoth. Did a lot of camping along the John Muir trail and climbing in upper and lower Yosemite.

Lots of fun places to camp here.

As to knife and gun laws here, have to think that wrist rocket sling shot our UK friend had a pic of would be illegal here. Why I don't know.
 
I don't represent cali, I rep the bay... Murderdubbz baby. If you didn't know... Google it.

I carry a knife every where I go, because it would be stupid not to.
 
SoCal here. Born and raised. Guess what city (see my username for a hint ;)). California is a great place. It's about 80% of the people and the laws that suck. BTW, all my ESEEs say RAT. I might have to buy a ESEE 5 and remedy that :D.
 
The politicians may be punk, but all the residents aren't. SD checking in. :thumbup::cool:
 
East Bay....Norcal. I also carry an ESEE on me at all times. HEST stays in my truck, Izula on my pack and a 5 on my oh sh*t pack, 4 hides in my Gunvault pistol safe next to a loaded G17, my 3 comes with me when going on walks with my wife and pooch, it's also my everyday utility knife, 6 stays with my pack for hikes etc.
