• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Are We Too Careful?

I think people should be able to do whatever they want with their knives, as long as you enjoy them. I recently posted a thread about this in the Custom Knife Forum that dealt with this issue, and there were some interesting issues raised.

Gee, I've had my Small Point Guard for a couple of Months (Ordered it the day it became available at Russell), and I USE it. BTW I have NO problem getting it as sharp as it started. The ONE thing I really like about modern "Plastic" handeled knives

is that you can put them in the dishwasher!

I love this thread and give a big AMen to the whole bunch. I am worst about wanting to keep everything in great pristine condition and at the same time hardly have anything that is not absolutely utility grade in it's materials.(that includes the guns glockman

) I guess not ever being able to have much and always longing for a good quality "tool" made me a bit obsessive compulsive, especially with knives. There is nothing I love more than using them though so that I can fully appreciate their full potential.
