At the end of a long weekend away from your computer and the forums, do you experience increased respirations, rapid pulse, pounding headaches, vision trouble, twitching in various regions of your body, nausea???? If you experience some or all of these symptoms you are either: A. A victim of nerve agent poisoning or B. A Bladeforums junkie.

Seriously, what is the longest you can go without checking the forums or posting a message?
Other than the weekends when I am off(I don't have a computer at home) I am on-line every day. What about you....?

Hi my name is Lynn and I am a Bladeforums Addict. It all started innocently. I visited the site on a dare from my friends. It looked cool, but I was able to resist coming back for a couple months. Then one of my "friends" said hey come take a look again. I thought, it couldn't hurt anything. Next thing you know I was checking it again, then again, then again. Now I can seem to go a whole hour with out having a craving to see what has been posted. When I go off to knife shows, the long weekend away drives me mad. It has even spread. I started a forum for my knives on my website last night. Now I will have 2 forums to check. Not to mention the 2 e-mail groups I belong to. I got it bad.

I wouldn't say I'm an addict, but:
I check the forums as soon as I get to work, and at break, and at lunchtime.
And when I'm at home, I find excuses to go online such as "I need to check the weather forecast." Then, as long as I'm logged into the Internet, I might as well see what's happening here at BladeForums.

But I wouldn't say that I'm an addict.

I'm not an addict. That's ridiculous. Okay, so I check the site a two or thirteen times a day. It's not like I check every page; just most of them. It's not like I leave one page check another and then go back to the first one in case someone posted something new! Okay, that's a lie. I gotta go, I think someone just posted something over in the Spyderco page.

I'm here because I wanna be here. Really, I don't need to be here. Uh, excuse me one minute, "Stop nagging me honey, I'll go to work next week, I promise." OK, now where were we?

You mean I'm not SUPPOSED to check in here at least 3X a day???!

I'm not an addict. I can go all of 2 or 3 hours before I check the forum.

Yes, I am extraordinarily fond of this site and it is not harmful to me.

I only check about 10 times a day though. I'm no freak!

Yup I get on here at least 5 times a day everyday, at work, at home. The only day I haven't been on here that many times is on Tuesdays which will probably be only 2 to 3 times and unfortunately I'm gonna be paying for that slip up.

I should be home with the family and I'm still here at work checking out the forum.

I've only purchased a Busse #9 and WWIII since I've been visiting here so how can that be called a addiction

Once the wife asked me why I visit here all the time instead of visiting any girley sites!!!!!!! Told her this site is free and fun along with much cheaper than paying for some eye candy

Yes, I am an addict. I check into BF, first thing in the morning, before I check the weather. I don't check while at work, but I probably will start soon. As soon as I'm home from work, I'm here first stop, and I've probably got 2 hours of work on the computer I should be doing. When I'm finally done working, I'm back. My wife asked, "Don't you watch TV, anymore?" The cable was out for a while, I didn't notice.

I posted the first couple of times to win a knife. I haven't won squat! Now, I post uncontrolably. I really do need help.

To para-phrase MTF3, "A day without BladeForums is like a day without light, and a day without light is like....Night!"

How does the saying go?Ah yes."All things in moderation".I would say that I'm an addict in the sense that I check the forums at least three times a day.In a better light I would say that I am up to date on current happenings.Being an addict here equates to being informed.
