Are you a HOG...? Claim your status here!

I would very much like to be a hog. I have a modest collection of 15 Busses and love everyone of them. I have attended at least one Knob Creek event each of the last 13 years. I attend at least two Indy 1500 shows every year. I made the last three Blade shows in Atlanta with my son, but have never made the Thursday night Busse dinner because of work requirements. I will probably not make real Hog status until I take off more than just one day for the Blade show and make the Busse dinner. Maybe then I will have a chance.
 
I am in the same boat as Tyrkon

I own Busse's, Rats and Dogs
I use all but a select few...and use them respectfully hard
I have only some credit card debt;)
I schedule my time around Ganzaa's and Skunk restockings...even if I cant buy em. I still F5 just to see if I could have scored
I check here and the store countless times a day
I check ebay and other forums and sources for INFI
I spread the word of infi through family and friends....a few a piece of there own now(g/f, dad, bro, bf)
If I dont get a Busse I get a Rat or a Dog.
I have a Busse Tattoo(Scrapyard anyway:D)
What I dont spend on INFI or SR77 or SR101, I spend on Scotch and Cigars:thumbup:

If I am not a Hog or a wee-Hog than I am workin hard at it, I certainly hope to make it to blade next year....I go on hunts here and the east and out West so that usually eats up my vacation time and money, but soon!

I've been an INFI pimp and enabler (accused/guilty), provided piglets with their first taste of INFI, cover for fellow HOG's during the ganzas. I try to be a helpful smart ass, pass on some treachery to the new guys.

Pretty much the stuff, the wonderful folks here on the forum taught me to do :thumbup:

I've only seen my entire collection together twice, once when I first started, and once when I thought I was done, that lasted a whole :eek: week I can rattle off my entire inventory from memory.

Just trying to live up to Hogdom, what ever that means.



I knew I was a HOG, when I sniped a BM-E off fleabay for a song, and almost immediately got an email from resinguy, congratulating me on my purchase :eek: 'No regrets',

Be prepared for more!!! Hopefully I'll have a SHSH by then and I'll bring a user 1/300 along with the YSSHBM (yetishavingstraighthandledbattlemistress), a HOGFSH, a SFNO, a ASH-1SE, A GW, AD, MS, a Bill Siegle chopper and a Daniel Koster chopper. Might have a FBMLE in there too ;). I'll have some cool new SHBM's to fondle too :thumbup:

I say we go looking for a certain payload sometime soon....:foot:

I'm planning a road trip from Toronto, Canada to Knob Creek just so I can score some custom ASH1 goodness!! I want one of those Pumpkin ASH1s !!!:)

I've got the HOG attitude and a couple of knives to prove it !! :D:D:cool:
 
I don’t claim to be a HOG but I think I behave like one.

I convinced my wife that 15 Busses are not enough.
First thing in the morning is to check the combat store and the forum.
Also during the day and last thing before bed.
I scored at two ganzas and at the combat store stamped
The F5 key is the most worn out key of my keyboard.
The biggest picture file on my computer is from Busse blades.
I feel pain whenever I miss a Busse
I pimped some INFI
Whenever I hold and use a Busse I get this special feeling
I trust in Busse blades like in no other knife and can’t get myself in buying another fixed blade.
 
If by a Hog(ette) you mean I'd rather have INFI than Chanel, that my boyfriend still wonders how I'm learning so much about knives,:eek: and that my favorite long, sharp thing is my Hell Razor,:o I guess you can count me in! ('Sides, I've been known to smoke the occasional fine cigar and scotch has always been my favorite Adult Beverage.) :thumbup:

A girl needs a knife...and it had BETTER be INFI!!!

I don't know if I would be considered a Hog or not, I am close to the 10k mark if not over it. Well over the 10lb rule and was participating here as much as time would allow before I started my move. I have sold kives below cost to those deserving and even given a knife or 2 away to others here. I think being a Hog is more than just how many knives or what your collection is worth, but is a mind set you attain during your many pilgramages to the through. So Hog or piglett or Hog slop, it makes no never mind to me it is about those we call family in this small part of BF. This was something that it took a while for me ( and I believe others) to realise, but once you do it changes everything.
