Not too bad! I didn’t know what kinetics was.
 
I thought knife steels are produced at a lower hardness than the hardened steel in finished knives. Your quiz says otherwise.

I have trouble reading it
One suggestion I have is to make the text black instead of the faint grey it is now.

I see how the wording could be confusing. It is not a knife steel until it is a knife. The steel as produced for the maker is in an annealed condition, as you said.

Edit: I have re-worded the question.

Also 11/11. Most knife makers will probably get 10-11 right. Most people on this site (excluding shop talk) will miss a few of them.

Edit: 101 level or not, I feel I have a molehill of knowledge and a mountain left to learn. So I am not sure I can claim the title of nerd in any metallurgical area.
