Are You a Steel Nerd? Quiz

11/11 we all have some kinds of interests and hobbies. I like simple steels too. O1, W2, etc. I also like more highly alloyed steels . They all have their place and purpose. I enjoy trying new ( to me) steels and learning why they behave the way they do. How they perform on my different stones and how stubbornly they hold on to their burrs and where their sweet spot is geometry wise . I have even gone as far as to import knives just to try a steel. If that makes me a steel nerd/junky/knut than so be it.

Well ... I was a fabrication welder (mobile) for a decade or so back in the '70's and '80's. :)
As for knife steels, I know what works for me.
Others of course may have different needs or wants. (and the funds to afford "super steels")
 
I got 9 of 11 but in the answer review at the end it looks like some questions and answers were mixed up?

Not really. The questions are grouped funny with the answers but they are in the correct order. And the last two questions have multiple correct answers but it only displays one of the potential answers.
 
9/11, but those last two don't count since they are very subjective:-)
 
I got a 8/11. It states I am getting there. Looks like I still need just a bit of additional help haha.

Overall, great quiz!
