Are you a User or a Collector? or a bit of both?

I have a small amount of safe queens (50 or so) that will never be used but these are high end (to me over 150.00) knives, now I don't intend to keep them with the intention of hoping they increase in value but rather I keep them because I like to pull them out every now and again to admire, play and just fondle them for lack of a better word and want to keep them pristine. Now all of my other knives I EDC on a regular basis and have and do use them all

I'm going to use mine as much as I can while the warranty is in effect. Not that I expect anything to happen to CRK, but knife companies come and go I'd hate to have let a wonderful knife sit around, unused, only to have the company go out of business and then really be afraid to use and possibly damage the knife.

I've been using my micarta-inlaid 25 lately, while I wait for my serrated 21 to get back from the mothership with a double thumb stud. I cannot put into words how nice the micarta inlaid Sebenzas are for a general use knife, I wish I'd bought one years ago.

Users, all of them. But some more careful than others. I'm carrying a sebenza 21 and my new GEC 77 sheepsfoot, both of which I hope to grow old(er?) with.

Use my 21 all the time. Only wish I could send myself back to the spa for an occasional refurbish; the 21 probably will outlast me.

I'm a user with collectors taste. I'm currently pocketing a Sacha Thiel Officer and loving it. When I'm carrying a collectable type knife, I do baby it tho. I usually carry a workhorse for the dirty work.

By the way @Lockup1109 I'm familiar with the first two CRKs but what's the story on the mountain scene? I've never wanted a CRK until I just saw that one!

Its a Morning Sun unique graphic. Not very common, i actually just got that one a couple of weeks ago. Been searching for that knife for a few years to be honest. Ive been carrying it on weekends, thats my ONLY knife that doesnt get thrashed on, all of the others have gone through a sheetrock wall or two many times over and then some haha.

User here. I'm a minimalist so I can't stand having stuff sitting around unused. That's why I'm about to sell a few more knives that won't get any use as I transition to EDCing strictly CRKs (98% of the time) especially after I get my small micarta insingo. I used to like the variety and all, but I heard it here and I agree..life's too short to carry cheap knives. There's something satisfying about carrying, fondling, and using a CRK to me so why bother rotating brands or letting them collect dust in the safe? Haven't used my Umnumzaan yet because frankly it needs a new edge.

Hard user for my large plain 21 and Umnumzaan. Looking at putting an Large Insingo Micarta in there as well. I can't buy knives without using them as intended and then some. Perhaps a nice inlay or Regular might make me stop my user ways.

Both. My micarta Seb 21 large Insingo has logged a lot of time being carried and used at work, holding back rarely; cutting drywall can be rough but she takes it quite well

Drywall is just one example. We do it all. It gets used, and it feels good! So much that it's opening me up to using some of the others more and getting rid of some of the safe queens.

Started off user but have more nice folders than a user could justify so I'm both a user and collector now by fate.

I always keep two or three CRKs in my EDC rotation, but there are several put away as collectables. I'm not inclined to use ones that can't be replaced. I view those more like a "rainy day" fund.

I'm both but I buy for the occasion. I have a Kershaw 1556ti that I bought specifically for work and it's fantastic. I recently bought a CRKT fossil that I cannot ring my self to actually use and abuse.
