Are you a User or a Collector? or a bit of both?

Certainly a collector and a user.
I have amassed enough large Originals w/ clips and large Regulars for the rest of my life at a one every 3.5 year rate so those will slowly be used. Then a few others to edc just to shake things up. But the rest are all far too rare to use. I could use them but some are irreparable and irreplaceable. Honestly, I love having both. When I don't look at some of the collectors for a while its like seeing it for the first time when I open one up. Like Christmas 365 days a year, LoL.
*However, IMO, there is no "middle ground". Its either a user or a collector. I don't carry one for special occasions or anything like that. If its not strictly a collector, its a user, just the method to my madness.
 
I started out as a user but i have evolved into a collector now. I still carry a small insingo from time to time but i just cant ever stick to one knife i honestly wish i could and i envy those guys who have carried the same ats34 seb for 15yrs but i cant make it two days before i change knives lol. So now i just buy to collect i may carry a new one for a couple days but then its off to the safe with it kinda sad really those beautiful knives never seeing the light of day but i would stroke out if some got a scuff so im keeping them under lock and key lol.
 
I'm more of a hoarder and light user than anything. I own 4x CRKs, and an totally jonesing for a small or large Insingo. But mine get carried and lightly used. And much fondled and played with. Wish I had an excuse to use them on drywall everyday, but no such luck.
 
Generally a collector of the more obscure early CRK's. Some get used occaisionally, hopefully this will become a private ritual. Christmas lunch..... The spoon did have to double up for soup and pudding.....
