Today was a pretty good day, got my warranty replacement hammock in, eno has some of the best customer service by far. Also got a woolrich coat I bought on etsy, 100% wool and made in the us.

Also joined the live stock judging team that my FFA chapter sets up

mmm, if i sell half of my BK1s, i can get a menzi :D

Jerry - you have a good eye.
That is the only M18 out there with Osage Orange scales!
(so far)

It's a good day: worked a half-day because I'm headed to a Weird Al concert, stayed at work just long enough to get my two packages from Baryonyx Knives and Tomar's Kabars. It was a good day indeed.

I need to get a MAM sheep's foot from him...

Went out the the Royal Gorge Bridge in Canyon City, Colorado. That was neat. Tried to find some more ghost towns on the way home but what was listed as ghost towns online were pretty well inhabited, almost no unoccupied buildings anywhere. Still had fun driving the back roads. If you really want to take a scenic drive, take CO 96 west out of Pueblo. Turn left onto Red Creek Springs Rd west (not east) and follow that until you end up back on 96. Keep heading west through Wetmore and you'll wind through a wooded canyon with steep rocks cliffs on each side, you'll know it when you see it. After you pass through there keep an eye out on your left for County Road 341. Follow that to 328 and then to 358 and follow 358 until you come back to 96 right at the 165 junction to turn south towards Bishop's Castle. Follow that to Colorado City and right at the on ramp to I25 is Obie's Fillin' Station, stop and get some grub. After that if you still feel like exploring back roads go back into Colorado City and take Burnt Mill Road north and just follow whatever path you feel like. You'll ether come out on state highway 78 west of Pueblo or back on 165 if you favor west pretty heavily.

And now for the pictures.

This is looking down into the Royal Gorge. You can see the bridge in the background.

And a shot I took on CR 358 just as the scenery started to get good. It got much more impressive from here

Weird Al still plays concerts?!?

Not only does he still do concerts (this is his Mandatory Fun tour that's for his newest and final album) but it was the best concert I've been to: very professional and well-constructed for a perfect blend of music and comedy with nary a break for the entire 2 hours. He really knows how to do a concert. :D

How are the handles on that Svord? they still all rough?

Yes, this one is quite rough. I got it for a friend, so it's leaving my possession tomorrow as I already have a blue-handled one, but I kinda want to give it a once-over with something to smooth it out.

Very nice indeed. Good haul. I like the looks of that MAM drop point.
Dubs - the MAM folders are pretty nice.
similar length has an Opinel #9 but with a liner lock.

It's a nice little knife, first MAM for me. It's handle is smaller than the Opinel #8 but the blade is actually just about the same size as the #8, with a much more usable shape as well. Me likey.

I gave away two severely beat up, but totally salvageable Enduras to a couple of forumites because I was too lazy to fix those knives. I hated them so much.

I dunno, seemed like a WIN, WIN to me. Lol

I dislike the Endura as well (too big) but the stretch is a completely different Spyderco: much more contoured, a good-sized blade, and much finer tolerances.

I need to get a MAM sheep's foot from him...

And now for the pictures.

You should, and wow those are good pictures. I'm envious! :P

Thats awesome Trade!! Lots of people just use old kegs, pressure cookers, and stuff like that. But a properly made copper still... Would be so much better.
