Thanks, Erik.

Thanks! Apparently we are not ready to just up and move with just growlers, ammo, knives and camping gear packed. I am expected to help pack all the other unnecessary crap too.

doesn't hurt to "lose a few things" :D

smoke up! best thoughts.

That's only because you already had most of that stuff ready to go. You didn't think moving would be easy, did you?

I am Very sorry for your families loss. I can't imagine the pain and sense of loss that you all have been forced to face.
If I can help, feel free to PM or email me.

Prayers for y'all Jerry. Parents should never have to bury their children. Just devastating.

Continuing kind thoughts for everyone in need, or pain.

Got some news for Bladeshow 2016, Steve Johnson and I will be sharing a booth, "710 sheath adventure Blade colab" we submitted the application and now the waiting game begins.

Cool! Best of luck to you both :)

Shipped quick, thought $8 was a bit steep but its bigger than I thought it'd be. And ya get a cute little skull sticker to boot. Worth it. Now I gotta pry it from my girl!

Calvin & Hobbes was my fave back in high-school. (lonnnnng before every dipstick on the planet had a window sticker of Calvin peeing on something-or-other ) And, um... I hate to break it you, but your kid is gonna own that patch. Just suck it up and order another for yourself :p

Also, the state of Texas might be on the market shortly thereafter.

Good riddance. (ducks and hides)

EDIT: I'm just teasing! Texans have been very kind to me, and I appreciate it a lot. I haven't actually crunched the numbers lately, but I'm 96.7% sure I've sent more knives to Texas than any other state. Thank y'all for your support! :)

You ain't joking man! I have a pile of stuff that's growing that I just haven't had the time or drive to get up on the bay...

Though you'd find this interesting, just came in the mail today. My daughters already trying to claim it!

I love it! C&H is probably my favorite newspaper comic strip (Get Fuzzy comes second) so that's just too cool. :D

Highs and lows this week....
The good:
We closed on our house today! It was a beautiful evening to enjoy a beer in the back yard.

The bad? More tragic, really.... Our one year old nephew passed away yesterday. He was born prematurely and had fought through some tough stuff. Was in and out of the children's hospital here in the city and was finally out and doing well a month or so before his birthday. The day after his birthday party (two weeks ago) he had some complications with his trach that he was not able to recover from. Needless to say, his family could use some smoke and prayers. They have another, a girl, on the way in just a few weeks too.

Heartbroken about this one. He was a fun and sharp little guy.

So sad to hear this, I can't imagine the feeling. Prayers being sent.

:) Yet more proof of the deep ties between Texas and Tennessee.

We could probably get that up to 96.8% if I would ever quit buying bayonets. :o:D

Indeed! :D

(he's not even kidding folks, the history involved, at least pre-1860 or so, is really pretty interesting... Sam Houston, Davy Crockett to name only two... Then there's the whole blues/country music thing in the early/middle of the 20th century and beyond... )

The power to change that is in your hands. ;)

Just bought gas for $1.91 per gallon. If anyone wants to buy a lot of abandoned oil equipment get ready - it will start showing up soon. Also, the state of Texas might be on the market shortly thereafter.

Does that mean the earthquakes will stop?

+1 Prayers sent. A parent's worst nightmare.

I've done my part! Still holding out for that Elmax boning knife also, but I do like the razor steel on the chef's knife.... :D

I think anyone would be hard pressed to think of anything worse than a child dying. My family and I will be thinking of you and yours Jerry. So sorry to hear about your loss.

Thanks guys. I appreiate it. I may take some of them prayers and send them straight to his parents and grandparents who are hurting a lot worse than I am right now.

They are a real young couple so I was glad to see that it looks like another family member set up a gofundme for them to help with his arrangements. If anyone is curious about it I put the link up on my Facebook, but I won't post it here.

Jerry, sorry to hear of your family's loss. I will certainly kelp yours and their family in my prayers. While it never goes away, or gets easy, you just kind of accept it, and live through , and with it. It blows.. I know ..
