I was at a place yesterday that decided to move by throwing most of what they didn't want on the end of the driveway and schedule a Habitat for Humanity pickup. They told us take whatever we wanted - the giant bummer was that I couldn't fit the Magneplanar MG II's in my tiny little Transit. I don't know where I would have put them (they're like 6 feet tall) but I sure would have liked to take them.

I did snag some smaller stuff - a couple Motorola GMRS radios, a Bang & Olufsen turntable, an Ion USB turntable, Kodak slide projector and a very heavy old Yamaha receiver. I really wish my truck was bigger. Ah, well - I have too much shit anyways.

For sure...you've met her...she's hard to deny lol. Plus she's a big Firefly fan so what can I do?

She was for real mad at me because I "made her watch" the series and it was too short hehe. Gotta love her!

Please let the Boss have the final word and lock that damn thread already! As aggravating as it is, I can't stop looking at it! Even worse, I don't know the first thing about all the heat treat and metallurgy to really get it lol. It's like I'm rubbernecking a fender bender!
 
Luckily I can sometimes not compulsively read those sorts of thread - one wreck starts to look like another after time, and I don't feel any burning need to watch them, much less try to grab the wheel.

Never watched Firefly, but Nathan Fillion is a voice actor in my favorite video game. :D
 
Yeah, I get that. Totally no wheel grabbing for me lol. Today's just been one of those days where I've been glued to the board for whatever reasons and when its at the top, I'm bored, I read it heh.

Look, I'm gonna be honest with you: if you have 12 hours to spare, watching Firefly will be among the best ways to spend 'em. If you have 14 hours to spare, toss in the follow-up movie Serenity. It's worth your time, among the best and most original shows I've seen and I've watched way too many sci-fi shows.

If you've seen Farscape, Stargate (SG-1 or Atlantis), or Battlestar Galactica I'd rank Firefly above all of them.

Just do it :p

Firefly is fantastic! I had lots of fun watching it for the third time with my daughter on her first

This is pretty much the only place in BFC with a real sense of humor. If you want no sense of humor, try the Spyderco sub. Nice guys there for sure but they don't joke around about anything. I mean anything. And I'm hardly ever serious....well except when I step on my.......um, never mind.
