and, just a little friendly advice: be careful with chiropractors. I herniated then ruptured my L4-L5 disc, and if I had followed the suggestions of well meaning friends and gone to visit their chiropractor, I might have ended up paralyzed. Just saying - the L4-L5 area is where your sciatic nerve branches and exits the spinal column; there are a LOT of great NON-chiropractic resources for dealing with that area of the body. If the disc is herniated or ruptured, x-rays wouldn't show that - and probably the LAST thing you would want done in that case is to have someone "adjusting" you. That's how mine went from herniated to sploodging out a blob of disc material into my spinal column that squashed up against my sciatic nerve in a most excruciating fashion: an accidental "adjustment" while I was sedated for a colonoscopy.

This is, of course, my opinion - nothing more.

I herniated my L5-S1 back in the early 90's. It ruptured, but I've avoided surgery so far, but starting to get close now I think. When I was still in the Army, they had on-post chiropractors at Ft. Sill, OK, for all the Artillery guys with bad backs from loading cannons. They would not let me see the chiro with my disk problem since I'd already lost feeling in several toes and there was too much risk of manipulating making things worse. Physical therapy worked wonders though, and has enabled me to avoid surgery to date.

There is a blank on there now. Was gonna get it but the guy couldn't tell me if it was heat treated or not

That's easy enough to find out. Just drop it or hit a tree. If it bends, it hasn't been HT'd.

If its not ground, chances are unless its someones backyard cobbled together project, it is not heat treated.

Just shot a big coon that was invading the yard's personal space. Probably had his eyes on the Orphington. :D

Depends on how much he's had to drink. He's a drunken master. He black's out and when he comes to there's an heirloom quality blade on the bench with no recollection of making it. :p

Voted... but I must say, voting on dudes' facial hair seems a little weird to me. Anyway, he's ahead by several percentage points as of right now. :)

That's only happened twice :o Seriously though, contrary to popular belief, I do love my beer. But seldom drink in excess while working in the shop. To many things in there that can rip my hands off or worse in there.
