Makers, lets see what you're bringing to Little Rock! I've seen a few, but there has to be more.
Bob

Here is one. 10 inch blade of L-6 and 1084. The fittings are Stainless with a twist of Pure Silver in the ferule. The wood is African Blackwood.

I'm very interested to see how this knife feels in the hand. It appears that the blade flows nicely from the handle.....I can't put my finger on it......but there's something about it that just looks right (probably doesn't make sense, but oh well). Nice one Lin:thumbup:.

Lin, that is some kickass African Blackwood. Usually, it doesn't have much figure.

Great looking knife Lin and Danbo expresses it well in relation to the handle material. Over all a wonderful package. I'm sure it will attract a lot of attention. Just hope a collector gets it first.

Great bowie Lin - I hope we will see more of your offerings and those of other makers in this thread.

Here's an 8 1/4 " SW Bowie in 15n20 and 1084, nickel-silver, and "birdseye" African Blackwood. If there's time, I have a blade for a companion hunter from the same billet.

Super piece Lin.
Even though I'm not a fan of Blackwood, this is a very good example considering the defined grain.
Absolutely love the damascus pattern, guard/ferrule. Excellent filework as always.

Gee's, what's with all the African Blackwood and Ebony we are seeing these days? Don't you guys know this stuff is becoming extinct in Africa? ;):D:D:)

But seriously John, this is an outstanding piece. Everything I said about Lin's applies here as well.

I will definitely make Arkansas next year as the show date will be far from San Antone's ABS show date.

John,
Every aspect of that knife is stunning! As you know Blackwood and a striking contrast damascus is probably my favorite. That one has it all plus exquisite workmanship.
Lin

Stunning damascus on that piece John - well done. When you've got a damascus pattern that bold, blackwood is an excellent choice.

Roger

Lin,
Thanks, you know I admire your work, and especially your attention to inventive detail, like inlaying the twisted silver wire.
See you at L.R.

Great looking knife, is it mine?? Great looking pattern in the blade.

Can't wait to see what the one you are making for me looks like.

Lin yours is just as stunning. I'd be proud to have it in the collection.

WOW!!! John has just taken the Bowie to another level. That one stunning knife. Looks like you guys will be having a super show! Keep the photos coming.

Lin and John, two great damascus bowies posted! It is interesting to see the variance in the two blackwood handles. No doubt, ebony and blackwood really dress up a damascus blade. Two awesome examples here.
Always look forward to the Little Rock show. Anxious to see what else you both plan on bringing!

I'm afraid I'm not going to have a lot of knives for sale at my table. Most of what I'm bringing are already paid for and are being picked up at the show. Still have a couple others in the works and of course, there's sheaths to make...

Above is a W-2 with damascus & nickel silver fittings. The handle is African Blackwood.

This is a Ws ladder-pattern damascus bowie with my "trademark" notch above the clip. I was pleased to hear that several people on the various forums were taken with that little element. I certainly didn't invent it but I incorporated it into almost every bowie and fighter I make.

Hope you like them.

Cheers,
