Finally here are two that are going to be there. The first is a hunter with a four inch blade of a very LAZY twist damascus, 416 SS guard, and amber stag handle. The sheath is made by Larry Parsons of Mustang Oklahoma and is great.
The second is a sheffield style bowie of 1084 in a 9.5 inch blade with some hamon activity, 416 SS guard and ferrule, tiger maple handle with silver wire work, and 416 buttcap.
There will be a couple more and I will post them if I get time. I look forward to seeing everyone.

Best regards
Brion

Ahhhhh......I like the wire and contrasting dye job on that maple bowie, Brian. Gotta try that . What color of dye did you use for the lighter patch?

Hello Joe. The colors are Dark brown and British tan. I tried a red on a test piece and it came out sort of a hot pink, decided not to go with that. Actually this was a first try for me with the wire and contrasting colors. I think I will be doing more of it.

Thanks, man. I tried the "mahoghany" to get some red, but it never turned out right. I tried to mix it with yellow, dark brown, etc, with no luck either. Those reds just don't seem to work well on maple. I currently use the dark brown and it I want to lighten it up, I just rub it with 0000 steel wool until I get to the shade that I want and then put the finish on it..

Brion ,Looks like you been busy. We had a f-4 tornado come through
last week, missed my house by 1 mile. Too close for me , it knocked out our power for 1 week . So I'm running a little behind. I did finish one for Les, and
Have two recurves to finish for LRock. I better hit the shop if I'm going to pull it off. www.shawnellisknives.com

Hey Brion, love that two-tone job. Looks great!

John, I never get tired of looking at you knives, they're always beautiful.

Shawn, I'm glad to hear the twister missed you and the family. Stay safe and see you there.

I love those inlayed handles you do.....showin' off your boat building skillz again:D

This is an extraordinary piece IMO.
Jerry is always moving forward in his designs.

Jerry describes it:

This is a 9 inch dog star patterned damascus bowie with ivory, framed handle with a mid ways side bar. Mountings are stainless and engraved with a row of very small beads on the guard {better than 200 of them suckers} on the ferrule is a double row of beads and the good luck running wheat pattern engraved and on the side bar scroll work engraved. Fossil Walrus handle.
I still have to put the pins in the handle, finish them out and engrave them. I have not done the side bar construction in quite a few years and when I did I never engraved it. I got out of proper sinc of construction and it gave me fits.

I think the Fisk knife may be the best Art Bowie posted this year. I can find no fault with the construction, materials or design.

Jerry, can I pay you a dollar a day for the rest of my life?

The Fisk is beautiful, one of the nicest handles I have seen. I think I may some more thinking to do now!
