It's now only a month away to what many consider to be one the best knife shows of the year. Arkansas Custom Knife Show! Let's see a preview of makers and knives.

Mark,

I would imagine that most of us are still working on the pieces that we will have there. I've gotten some completed but am still working on others as well. :) There are still a number of rough forged blades in my shop waiting to be finished.

Little Rock is always a good time and the Friday banquet there always has many of the best knives of the year on display. I always look forward to seeing what everyone will bring to the show each year.

Here's one that I recently finished:

The blade 1084 & 15N20. The handle is afzalia lai with wrought iron fittings.

I know I will be way outclassed at this show but they gave me a table and I figure, "nothing ventured, nothing gained". I will have several of my EDC blades including this one. I'll also have some larger blades and maybe a few folders.

Bob, you'll fit in nicely!
Looking fwd to meeting you.
Should be a great show. Currently I just have a small pile of blades and time's ticking away!
I'll have to check back in later.

Excited to get to go again this year. Had so much fun last year.
Have 4 folders in various stages scattered on the bench.
Made this one a while back. I managed to hold on to it for this show. It now has a nice Claude Scott sheath. ( No pics of the sheath)

Wow Bing, that is beautiful. I also plan to bring your two mammoth Bingalor's for you to display (NFS). I'm in the process of making a small walnut display box for them. Should have it done this week.

Just want to confirm that the show is still on. www.arkansasknifemakers.com website is down. Looks like the domain has expired and the Robinson Center website doesn't list the event. Just getting started in knife making and this will be my first event if it's still happening. Thanks!!

The show is on. The Robinson Center is remodeling. Its at the Statehouse Convention Center, located just down the street.
It's a larger venue. Don't know why the AKA site is down.

Great looking Bowie Bing. The AKA is the show for fine Bowies.

Mark, that's going to be a fine case.

Beauty Bing.
Excellent box Mark, looking forward to seeing it and contents of.
Nice work James, bring some chamois cause they are probably gonna
Get "Coon Fingered."

Dang Mark that's nice:thumbup: I'm really excited to see this up close.

Thanks to all for the comments on the Bowie I posted.
Hope to have a few folder pics later this weekend.

Gary excited to look over your bowies. Looks like you have been very busy.

I'm getting jazzed to see everyone at the show.
