I will be there and have a few things. Stag bowie, moran style fighter, and a couple of hunters. I am looking forward to it, going to be some real nice knives there as always. Diane is bringing the chocolate Jerry. See you all there.

Pics of the knives would be good, but I really want to see a picture of a "chocolate Jerry" , is it full size or a minature? .....:D

Here is another Bowie I just finished. I have a hunter in the works, hope it turns out. Nothing like pressure....

Blade is 8 1/2" and the steel is 5160.

Rodrigo doesn't have an account here at the blade foruns so he asked to let you know he will be there too. Here are two beauties he's taking along.

Craig, that's a seriously knice knife!!! :D

And to all the rest... A show I'm truly sorry I'll miss! Totally awesome eye-candy on these pages!!!

Some real eye candy here - typical Ron Newton awesomeness. The details as provided by Ron:

"This is a close twin to the trick mechanism auto dagger I had in Reno except this one is all mosaic damascus blade and handle with a new steel pattern I haven't made before. The fine w pattern looks like falling rain on the coarse tropical plant looking pattern. Thus the name rain forest. The mechanism is my "5 function" design that can be turned on and off secretively. The liners are titanium with multicolor anodizing. 24kt. gold wire celtic knot inlay on the presentation side handle. Celtic knot engraving on latch and spine with 24 kt. gold accent. Blade is 3". Steels used for damascus are L6, 1095, 15n20 and 1085."

And here's a stag bowie by Mike Williams that looks to have one of his outstanding "cloud" hamons. Blade steel is 8670m. 9 3/4 inches long. Stainless fittings with titanium spacers:

I feel sorry for the judges in the "best bowie" category. Wait a minute - no I don't - come to think of it, I'm jealous as hell! :D

Roger

There are some stunning knives on here, jeez you guys over the water just don't know how lucky you are Reno last week and now this .......

Stephen

Oh yeah.. forgot to say that Rodrigo is taking his JS test this year in Arkansas... just called him to wish good luck and a nice trip. Hope that those of you guys who can make it to the show give us some good news of his test.

seriously I keep going Back to the Sfreddo pieces..The guard work, ferrule treatment and frame handles sre among among the most tasteful i've seen.
serious!

I will actually have a table there with a few knives for sale. I am mostly going for the good times, good cigars and good folks.

John, are those snakes inlaid in the handle of that damascus bowie?

Roger

Very nice knives Martin! I like them both a lot. Your damascus is really cool. And the snakes... really nice stuff!
