Man this is a gorgeous knife!Sharp & Fiery you hit it on the head... it's like a Sebenza and Arius had a baby... love it!
My only hesitation is RWL-34... can someone sooth my worries, or validate them?? I know back in the day it was loved, but from what I'm reading it's very similar to 154 cm?
Mine holds a razor edge longer than s35. And it's scary sharp.Man this is a gorgeous knife!Sharp & Fiery you hit it on the head... it's like a Sebenza and Arius had a baby... love it!

Thanks Brother! I'm around off and on... getting over the rona this week so have a little more forum time ;-)Glad to see you posting again!! Hope all is well.
RWL-34 isn’t a supersteel to todays standards. It is easy to polish and easier to sharpen though. It’s similar to ATS-34 IIRC.
I’ve found that RWL-34 can’t keep a steep edge angle sharp for long and a more obtuse edge angle with a secondary wears better.
I have no problems with RWL-34. It will work well as a daily user…from my experience it does. More frequent touchups than say M390 and the like.
Hope my opinion helps.
Yep understood - totally get that! same reason why a lot of outdoors guys prefer 01 or A2 to some of the super steels - there's a place for bothMine holds a razor edge longer than s35. And it's scary sharp.
Sometimes I like and edge that is easier to bring to a razor than something that last 6 weeks.

RWL 34 is powder steel though, closest similar steel would be CPM 154. Not bad at all, IMO.
I know where there is stock on the plain ones.I still can’t believe I passed on a plain ti version when they were released a couple weeks ago. I’m a damn fool.

I hope you bought the last one, I'm trying to resist.Well since I wasn’t aware their was still stock on AB’s website, and they ship worldwide, and I was about to drop money on a CPK HDFK via proxy from a good friend at BladeShow…this just happened. Thanks a lot jerks. At least I know I won’t be disappointed.
