Lot of maintainence this weekend...I worked the tippman over until it runs like a sewing machine ...wait it IS a sewing machine ...then installed a de- dust system. Tired of choking on micarta. Also went out of town to get leather.

Waiting on me are 16 knives to handle!
 
Well, I was SUPPOSED to be landing in Dallas about right now... seems the airport resembles the north pole. So I get to be on standby to fly out for the next few days....
 
Heck of a week... had a booshway stolen in the mail, on Monday was informed my wife needs major surgery and same day my son has to be states witness in a criminal trial in OK...then on wed. I find out my great aunt is dying... I am ready to call it a week!
 
Only it looks like I will really have to fly into tulsa this next week. If I go missing please come look for me! I have done my hard time in southwest MO. I don't want to get stuck back there! Lol

About finished 8 handles but diabetes got the best of me.... flat on my back. Hopefully just for the night.

Hey guys sorry about the slow replies. I'll try to Catch up on messaging tomorrow. Been a crazy 3 days. I am jet lagged. Too many time zones in too many flights. I am safe at home now And I will try catch up on emails by tomorrow evening.
 
Holy Crap, I had not idea how big of a $h!i storm last week was for you. I hadn't looked at this thread before, big smoke headed your way.
 
Just throwing this out for curiosity's sake. As a maker do you ever see a production knife and do a custom spin on it? Is that ethical or a non issue? You see so many posts from people screaming about other production company's stealing designs I wondered if that carried over to the custom arena. I mean you can only make blades in so many shapes right.

I get the spydie hole thing. I really do. I also get the knock offs and fakes but is taking a page from a production knife and paying homage to it as a custom a no no?

Too much time on my hands today.

I think it depends on the designer. Some don't seem to mind that other people copy them. Others do not want anyone copying them...
 
There are several of you that have sent me emails. I am really behind in answering. I apologize. I am really trying to catch up on school. Had to drop a class already this semester.
