Those DO look a lot like a "Rag" micarta. Probably similar but with glass cloth here. Would need a better, closer photo to comment further. First I've ever seen like that from Busse.
That's MY favorite Proto SYKCO thus far. Nice pointy Bowie grind on that spine!

Looks like I scored a chunky Ratmandu with a serious hollow grind and an A2 TG. Both in cerakote I believe.
The RMD feels like it was made for my hand and the canvas micarta is my favorite scale material so that was a great “get” for me! Not sure about the TG, but it is bad to the bone and I’m having trouble just sitting here and not stabbing moving boxes here in my office.

I'm no expert, but I'm inclined to agree with SpyderPhreak that this is rag micarta. At certain angles you can see the 'fibers' making a checkerboard pattern. Boy, that's a tough one. I think it could be a rag micarta, but then I look at it again and think it could be some kind of rag G10. VERY interesting!
Those are definitely G10 pins though. Maybe
