I am now short 3 wisdome teeth, bu am rich in gauze... no beer for a week. Don't drink much anyway, but happen to have a good selection in the fridge at the moment. ice-cream and pudding here I come.

So, just found out today and tomorrow is the St. Louis Knife Show. I'm thinking of going tomorrow. It might be nice to get my mind off everything and go look at some pretty, shininess.

Daizee, hopefully they also gave you a nice selection of pain killers!

Also watch out for dry socket. One of my buddies just missed 3 weeks of work cause of that junk.

is the blackhawk a rifle? :D

hint: ruger. rifle. .44 caliber. looks just like the 10/22 for the most part.

Drotary mag is tfhe key. Always wished they made one in .357.

Daizee beat me to it. Ruger .44 Carbine Rifle, made from 1961 to 1974.

Ruger has also made several other .44 Magnum rifles...

you'll note the Carbine has an underloaded much like a shotgun tube. nice.

there's a Deerfield model, that i want to score, that has a "rotary magazine" like a 10/22

and more lately, they have a bolt action rifle, all stainless, polymer, lovely, VERY light rifle, also rotary magazine.

all three of them are ideal for various kinds of hunting. 300 grain 44 Magnum or so... one dead animal.

on the Carbine, i would very much like to get a synthetic stock for it... if not, another wood stock, or have one made; the originals are ... a bit delicate :D

i suppose if it every breaks, i can go crazy with the fiberglass, and duracoat it, but then i lose the good wood look.

it's a very intersting rifle, very interesting mechanism. take off the ring, and the entire working portion of the carbine comes out as a single piece.

Snipe 1,000!

(face palm) You did it by accident!

...one of these days I'm gonna get the 1,000th post in one of these threads...gawd! I set it up, and you're the one that sniped it!

there have been a few manufacturers that tried to produce the 22 mag auto loading pistol. always seem to have had feed problems. the most notable two before the pmr 30, that is never to be found except at twice msrp or more, were AMT which i read somewhere was either back in production, or about to be so (might be BS), and the grendel. the grendel never gained a lot of popularity, but was a pretty good product from what i have read.

Doc

yup. Grendel... KelTec... George Kellgren.. Kel Gren, get it? :D

The Grendel P30 !!!
