  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

As of this morning I've lost 50 lbs.

Congrats on sticking to your program and reaching your goal!! The only thing harder than reaching your goal is not to put it back on. Check you food intake and up your activity levels. Forget about those magic pills and potions ....think of it this way ...... why would they sell you something that works if that kills their market!!

Maintaining your weight is life style ... not a diet!!

I was skinny as a rail most of my life til I hit about 35. I then started noticing love handles, and then a paunch. I am just under 6'5" and I went up to 250. I lost my breath when I went to tie my shoes. I am known as the cookie monster in my house. In fact, I just went through a wrap of oreos. I think there are about 10 in there. However, you inspire me. I gave up alcohol, cigarettes, and any/all rec. drugs fully about 7 yrs. ago. I am 44 now. I feel much better and live a fuller life without those things. I had for lunch today some ceviche. The fish was Red Snapper. I admit, I was hungry about 2 hrs. later, but at least I avoided red meat. I am weak for steaks, carne asada, and burgers. I am trying to eat more nuts and less red meat. The cookies, well, I guess if I have to. I just wanted to chime in congrats, also way cool on thanking the policeman.

Congrats! I've lost 43lbs since January, and now have excellent blood pressure. How did I do it?

Switching to a mostly paleo diet, portion control, and exercise.

Great job man! What did you do? Not to steal your thunder or anything but I lost 70 lbs!
Wow, way to go! I've got another 25 or 30 to go, I'll catch up :)

Forget about those magic pills and potions & Maintaining your weight is life style ... not a diet!!

Of course, for me that's just common sense.
