Assault Weapon Ban has expired!

now I can carry my uzi in my car for the ride home from work...rush hour traffic will be a little better
 
why?

Surely you already carry a Kel-Tec .32, and either a glock, Springfield .45 or a BHP right?

Don't forget the spare mags!!

Saw an interview on TV with some local gang members. They are planning large scale purchases of weapons that were previously hard to get, but will now be generally available.

I think that's great since their main targets are each other. Of course there are always a few bystanders who get caught in the crossfire, but that's the chance you take living in the Ghetto, the Barrio, or Chinatown.

The easy solution is just move to the White Suburbs and let the Gangsters have at each other in their parts of town.
 
GOt an actual reference to that? Since Congress killed it, I don't think any Prez will b able 2 bring it back.

also, Ben-RAW: Gang bangers don;t really go buy guns from stores, they usually obtain ilegal ones on the black market, or steal them. Since the ban, there have not been a marked increase in AW sales.

I went and got me a CETME, which is still in post-ban configuration (I actually like the muzzle brake, and see no need for a flash hider...). Wanted a G3 or HK91, but HK takes their name a bit too $eriou$ly fer my tastes. CETME is basically the same. and wow, my dad's .270cal hunting gun kicks harder/more than this thang. Where has this gun been all me life?

The CETME, firing 7.62 NATO (basically a .308), has little bullet drop at 200 yds, so you can pretty much sight it in at 25 yds with same performance at 200yds.

Trevor got him a Romanian AK47, pretty nice gun overall.

Both these are semi-auto, as we all know machine guns are covered under a ban passed in the 1930s

The gangsters I saw in the TV interview said they were planning large scale purchases of weapons. They didn't say they were planning to purchase them from the gun shop. They were probably planning to buy them from the guys who steal them from middle class white guys who buy them at the gun shop.

You have some sort of link or reference, Ben? I'd be glad to forward this to law enforcement in whatever city was in question.

The funny thing is...the only differences (aside from the price of magazines) are actually things "gang-bangers" wouldn't care much about, like whether you can have a bayonet lug or pistol grip on your weapon. I have yet to meet a criminal
who was actually concerned about whether there was a mounting point for a bayonet on his rifle...Further, "large-scale purchases" from legal outlets are reported directly to the ATF. If one had to wait until after the ban to make these "large-scale purchases", then they must obviously be buying from a legal outlet...which means a background check will be run...which means the buyer cannot have any felonies or violent misdemeanors.

I don't have any of that, John. It was just a spot on the local news. But even if I did, I wouldn't want the cops to interfere.

The Black and Mexican gangs here are involved in selling Crack and Heroin to their own people. The Mexicans also sell Crank to lower class Whites who take it to their part of town and distribute it. The Asian gangs are mostly involved in extortion and home invasion attacks of other Asians. All the gangs fight over territory in their respective areas, none of which involves me as long as they stay out of my neighborhood.

The more guns they have, the more they can kill each other, and I find that a positive development.
 
You know I'm new here and I really love the Kukri I just bought from Uncle Bill but after reading some of the Bigoted and just plane stupid posts made in this thread I want nothing to do with this forum. I have to laugh someone gets all pissed of about a link to a vid showing bull getting its head chopped off but noone says a word about this ****....good bye and I hope no one uses one of your beloved autos on you or your loved ones.
