Assisted Opening knife recommendation!

ZT 0350

ZT0350Glock.jpg

I would have to agree I got my ZT 0350 two weeks ago and it hasn't left my pocket until today. I traded for ZT0303. what a beast Love speedsafe. This is by far my favorite assisted opener.

No ZT3XX model meets the OP's criteria (they are all over $100).

The Nitrous Stryker is another nice choice, though.

Hey guys I'm looking for some recommendations on an assisted opening knife with the following requirements:
3.5" blade (or close to it).
Under $100 (or close to it).
No flippers and not a SOG Flash II.
So far I've been looking at the Benchmade Barrage. Any gripes with this blade?
Got any better suggestions?
Thanks for your help!

The OP says or close to it.

The OP says or close to it.

He also said "no flippers".

In any case, if one is going to ignore the criteria and go with a ZT I would recommend the 200 over any of the 3XX knives.

Just my opinion, yours may differ...

I've got a WARN D2 tanto, the smaller one. I never used it, but it's extremely well made, fast, and easily the sharpest Benchmade I've ever received. I'll probably sell it, since I bought it on a whim and I'll probably never carry it.

Is that the 0350? Opens Fast, with fairly. hard firing?

How does D2 steel compare to the 154-cm steel thats on the Barrage?
D2 is harder, holds an edge longer, but more brittle , and harder to sharpen. I like 154cm better. ....... But the quality of that Benchmade stryker that rookie posted......Beautiful knife! Great pics.

Thanks for all your recommendations guys. I'm really liking the Blur. As of right now its my around the house knife because my city doesn't allow me to carry knives bigger than 3". For that reason I've decided against the Barrage and I've already ordered a mini griptilian.
