i like some of the knives they have and feel like buying some just for funnzies but i dont feel like losing money so has anyone had any problems with them???
 
I have never, myself, done business with them. Why? Because Assisted Knife and it's parent Roadside Imports fail my "smell tests" for a website I want to do business with. They do not give a street address or phone number on the site. The postal address and phone number used to register the domains are invalid. The e-mail address they give is a throw away. Oh, and the owner was banned here at bf.c because he couldn't control his temper. They also have in the past -- I don't know about now since I haven't looked lately -- sold unauthorised rip-offs of designer knives. I would not recommend doing businesss with them, no.
 
I haven't done business with them based on the impression I got from his ranting posts on forums like this and their ghetto thug type videos.
 
I've bought 2 knives from them and personally didn't have any problems. They both arrived 4 days after ordering and the owner has answered my questions readily. I don't really care about his temper or the whole "Boycott Benchmade" thing. RSI has a lot of rare and cool knives at reasonable prices. If the item you're looking for can't be found anywhere else, I have no problems with recommending them.
 
With all the good dealers on the net, many that support the forum, why would you try a sketchy one?
 
I've bought from him too--sometimes, his prices are the best for overseas customers. No problems whatsoever.
 
I personally will never buy from someone who uses the word "retard". That word is very hurtful no matter what the context!
 
I speak with the owner a lot. He's a good guy. I've never done any business with him, but everything looks legit. He does have a "cheap shit" warning, but that's due to the people that buy the $7 knives and expect the world from them.
 
Thrown hundreds of dollars at the guy (before I found my way on here, even) and never had a problem. Always willing to help me out and discuss whatever knife I've had my eyes on.
If I order something from him, I know I'll have it in my hands in a week, and I live in Europe. Good prices, good service.
 
Ditto skoi. Have placed a couple orders. What is on the site is what he has - no back order notices a day later. No bs quick service get what you pay for products. Couldn't ask for more. Would order again without hesitation.
