Maybe not “astonishing” but it fetched a pretty penny. Mmm The True-Temper handle.

To funny ITVD, I noticed both those sales in the past couple days...I know where there is a Red Warrior connie tonight;)
As for that Atkins Victor, I wish I knew where one was sleeping tonight lol!

A good example of a fairly fresh one. It always surprises me that the toes are made so short. At first I just thought they were worn out like soo many US axes you see. But they made just them with short (which quickly became shorter likeevery other axe). I wonder why that is. I should ask this in the Kirves thread.

Had to share this one with you guys. I really didn't ever expect to see one available.
Here is the page on the president's axe from Thomas Lamond's book on northern New England axe makers; 1565837169307203122484357740141.jpg

And the one available!

Pretty cool and I'd love to grab it even though it isn't the president's axe but a hunters axe.

Pretty cool and I'd love to grab it even though it wasn't the president's axe and was in fact the hunters axe.
Insanely cool!

Man. I have one in better condition that I’ll sell you for half as much!

I was gonna do it! But then I was like "nah thirteen bucks is too much for shipping ".

LOL!! $13 is steep definitely!

I had no idea of the bargain I received when I purchased mine!
