At The Cabin With The Beckers (Ridiculously Photo Heavy)

Took the little round table out, that came with the cabin:

And brought my 4' foldable in. The idea being, I'm going to get folding recliners for us, and we can fold the table up after dinner, and take a nap in front of the fire on the recliners, when the cold comes back:

As you can see, she was a hot one:

Used the 4 to clear some small branches:

Also bought a Coleman Xtreme cooler. Usually around $50, but found it for $30 shipped. Supposed to keep ice for 5 days. There are reviews n the tube, where the ice lasts as long in one of these, as it does a Yeti. Lots cheaper too. The ice was in great shape after 2 days of 90° heat:

Batoned a little with the 4:

The wife rigged up one of her tactical bags for black raspberry gathering:

She got a few small bowls full:

Got my new flint striker in, that the wifers bought me for Father's Day. I took the photo with my Jeff White knife, only because it looks more old timey:

It was hot out, but we had a good time.

As usual Great pics Warrior. I'm glad that you got out of the A/C and into nature.
Thanks man. Glad we went, but it was a hot bugger out. The nights cooled down to 65°, but the days were hot. We usually stay until around 5 in the evening, but left around 11a.m., due to the heat. Saturday was hot, with less humidity. Sunday was getting hot and humid fast.

Good stuff Warrior! Love seeing your 4 getting more use, I've been using mine around the yard a lot lately! Down here, we call those blackberries!
Thanks. Gotta love the 4 man. I thought they were blackberries too, but the wife says they are not, they're black raspberries.

Warrior your Machax is just plane bada** looking.
Thanks man. I really haven't used it as much as I'd like too. The new coating doesn't seem to last as long as the older, smoother coating, imo. Gotta love a user though.

My bk4 has probably seen the most use out of my Beckers too. The 9 is getting some dirt time too. I just don't grab the bk20 much anymore. I can do most everything I need to do with my 4 or 9. Around the yard at least.. I may even put it up for sale soon!

I feel like that too, but I won't be getting rid of my 20 anytime soon.

Right on bravo. My 4 hanging in the dangler with the snaps folded and snapped out of the way just works for me. Handy as hell. I keep it about even with my right front pocket. Pull it out, snap cut, drop it back in. Next!!!

I normally have my 9 with me at the cabin. It's been my go to for some time. It's one of my all time favorite blades. I mostly use my blades for wood processing there, and the niner does no disappoint. I like the straight blade, it's light, chops great, batons well, plus, if I ever have to have a show down with a bar, I don't want my 4, I want my 9, haha.

Excellent pics as usual. Looks damn hot to be doing manual labor lol.

Needed to quote this one. Awesome picture of awesomeness :)
Thanks man. You know I'm a picture taking fool. It was too hot, but was glad to get a little work done. I like how that photo turned out as well. I wanted to use the striker. I should have, just to see how it worked, but would rather actually make a fire with it the first time. The striker has the smell of cloves something fierce. It was covered in choji oil, is why.

We need to get back to making fire with flint and steel again. Hell, each time we went out to the woods, that was the only way we started fire for a whole year! It was awkward at first, but it's very simple to do now. The tinder bundle is the most important part!

Right on. I love all the different ways to get a fire going.
