Hello BF,
SOLD, thanks.

This is my first kitchen style knife, the prototype. I ground out a total of 18 blanks. It is styled after a classic chef's knife.

I did carve two turkeys with it yesterday, I will discount the knife because of this. I wanted to get some opinions on it, and it worked very well. I contoured the handle on the thick side. But, both men and women alike said it was on one of the most comfortable knives they ever used.

OAL is 11 1/4, and cutting edge is 6 1/8. Thickness is 1/16 inch, Blade is 1 1/2 inch spine to edge.

Handle is quarter sewn English Walnut. Primary grind is full flat.

Held by brass Corby Rivets. This ATS 34 knife is heat treated, cryogenically treated, and tested to guaranteed Rc of 59-61 by Peters of Meadville, PA.

There is no case or sheath.

Outstanding! If I had some extra money, this would be quite tempting. It looks extremely comfortable, and the handle is beautiful.

Great looking knife. I am starting my first kitchen knife set for my wife. I can only hope mine turns out as well as yours.

That's just what I've always wanted
Will you be taking orders on these soon?
What handle material does the $119 version have?
Great work
-John

Thanks MRW, I really took my time, there's not much room for a mistake. Good Luck with yours!

JFO, $119 would cover synthetics and wood, $139 for stabilized wood, I have some stabilized Ohio Buckeye and Curly Maple on its way.

That is one gorgeous chef's knife. The grind looks great and is certainly hard to get right at that thickness. You picked some really nice walnut too.

I'll get back to you after the new year. I took a terrible beating in the market this year, and I have lost alot of money. I will see how things are in Jan. or Feb. and contact you at that time as I am interested in these kitchen knives. Thanks, Rick
