ATS 34 Chefs Knife in English Walnut (My first Kitchen Blade)

That is a fantastic looking knife. She Who Must Be Obeyed always insists that any ricasso gets in the way, making kitchen work difficult. She would love this design.

John,
I could have warned you. Kitchen knives will put you in the back-orders fast. If you do that same style with a 2" blade and sell them as a set you'll never see daylight again.
Beautiful work man.

Yeah, fun...I am already drawing up my next...

Thanks!

Landi,
I'm a big fan of custom kitchen cutlery.IMO,SS is the WTG This knife looks great I would like to see more with synthetic scales. And the thinner stock is the WTG as well.Looks really good.Someone got a nice one here

I am with Vince on this one...

Make a run with the thinnest stock you are comfortable working with and some knuckle clearance and they will sell like a cold drink in July.

This is a very versatile and desirable kitchen design.

Great work! :)

Thanks Add.

I used 1/16 stock, would you suggest thinner? Again, thanks for your input.

John

John,
For this size/length blade I would think 1/16" stock is fine.Looking good,

holy smokes John, I think you have found your new calling! Nice work, love the walnut.

To be sure...I am on the list for this one right? The choice of wood is up to you...I like the english walnut but would take whatever you think looks good...TOTAL freedom of expression...Let the artist work!

Thanks

Bill

Yes Bill, you are.

And thanks for the artistic freedom. :) I do have some ideas...

I will get an email out to you when it's ready.

Regards,
John
